Shaping Europe's smartest pharma hub
About us
Pharma Gateway Amsterdam (PGA) was founded by Air Cargo Netherlands, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and 23 logistics companies
with the purpose to offer shippers of pharmaceutical products an IATA CEIV Pharma certified (and/or equally qualified program) closed airfreight supply chain. This way ensuring quality, efficiency and transparency of pharma shipments.
A concerted effort to improve the quality of pharmaceutical supply chain
Pharmaceuticals are temperature sensitive goods and are harmful to patients when exposed to temperature deviations. The need for more compliant, standard, accountable and transparent processes in the pharmaceutical logistics air cargo chain encouraged the cargo community at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to collaborate in order to optimize and ensure efficient and qualitative handling of pharmaceutical shipments.
